Wonderful sunshine at last! The trade only fair in Aviemore last week was really successful despite the doom and gloom about the fuel. Many of my hedgehogs, bears and squirrels will soon find their way into selected shops in Scotland. Many buyers are so pleased to find items that are not made overseas.

Just before I went, I was happy to be a temporary home for two hedgehogs. Hessilhead wildlife centre take in hedgehogs every year which are too small to survive the winter. Then in the Spring they look for volunteers to provide temporary shelter in their gardens before release. My two little hogs happily ventured forth after a few days - I just hope that they are alright.
