Bramble Bear was first designed in the 1980's in a larger size and is featured in the Ultimate Teddy Bear Guide by Pauline Cockrill. This edition is 14" high and fully jointed. Like his predecessor he is made in a fine quality acrylic fur and suede-look pads. The dark brown eyes are glass.
Bramble is dressed in a complete school uniform ; trousers, white shirt, tie and knitted top. He carries a leather school bag for his homework! Under one arm he holds a small exercise book.

Brandon and Bryony are made in a beautiful rustic mohair in a pale beige with black flecks. They have dark brown glass eyes and embroidered noses. Ultrasued pads. Bryony in the right of the photograph is wearing school uniform - skirt with staps, white shirt, tie and handknitted cardigan. Tucked into one sleeve is her handkerchief.
Bryony and Brandon can both be dressed in school uniform and they stand approx. 18" high.

These two Bramble bears were dressed in red sweatshirts for a special customer - sweatshirts are now worn by many school children. They have hankies up their sleeves and school exercise books for their homework!

Sweatshirts can be made in different colours, but they do look better without a shirt underneath and the bears tell me it is more comfortable that way!

Although the colour scheme for the basic uniform for the school bears and rabbits is grey and navy, a special uniform can be commissioned with a specific school in mind.
Perhaps the school uniform of your choice features a straw boater or cap - this can be added in some sizes. If you have an old school tie this could be adapted to fit the bear.
