I have been designing kits and patterns for companies such as DMC, for Teddy Bear Times magazine and others for many years. My first book was the Creative Book of Soft Toys in 1984 which was a success - translated into many different languages.
This was followed by Just Bears and a collaboration on Crafty Cats. I took a break so that I could concentrate more on the making, but now I feel it is time I would like to share a little more of my knowledge again.
My first book with Search Press was published in May 2015 - 'How to make Little Felt Animals'
My love for woollen felt fabric started 50 years ago and now it is becoming a popular fabric again - there are many beautiful colours to choose from and there is a certain simplicity and beauty in a felt crafted item.
My fourth book, how the Make Heirloom Teddy Bears has been published, also by Search Press. This beautiful book covers so many aspects of bear making as well as a little of my own history and background.
